All-Time Favorite Whole 30 Breakfast

Okay you guys… I’m letting you in on a huge secret here. This recipe is a mesh of several different Whole 30 breakfast recipes I tried, and I think I’ve finally perfected it. In fact, my toddler and husband fight over serving portions if that tells you anything 😉

What I love about this recipe is how easy it is to prep, make, and clean up. The ingredients are inexpensive, which is nice for those of us on a budget! And it also reheats really well! Win-win-win!

Alright, without further adieu, here it is:

Sweet Potato, Apple, Sausage, Blueberry Mash

Sweet Potato, Apple, Sausage, Blueberry Mash



  1. Melt coconut oil in large skillet
  2. Add in sweet potato and toss in oil over medium/low heat
  3. Cover & saute occasionally for 5 minutes (until sweet potatoes begin to soften & brown)
  4. Add apple and sausage (Paleo folks, feel free to sprinkle in some coconut sugar here. No go for Whole30ers!)
  5. Saute for 1 min, cover, and continue to stir occasionally for 5 more minutes.
  6. Add blueberries and sprinkle with cinnamon
  7. Saute for 1 min, cover, and continue to stir occasionally for another 5 minutes.
  8. Saute 1 more minute until mixture begins to turn purple.
  9. Serve!

I have no idea what whole 30 is but I really like the sound of this recipe. The apple sounds like an interesting, but good! Addition
